Every time… Every-time I go to help my sweet padré order something or login to an account, we can’t remember his password or the right username. Let me just pause right here before I get emails explaining that we should keep every password the same thing, we tried that & we still have to call the government every time.
Well this morning I found myself hoping & praying that my computer remembered my passcode for me, haha. I guess its all in the family. When my eyes saw the profile dashboard I was relieved and it resonated with what God has been helping me with.
If I had forgotten the passcode & had to spend an hour trying to get into the site God would not love me any less. It seems that when I fail God or I fail my own expectations for God I approach Him like His love is running through an hourglass- with only enough sand for one more mistake. I come to Him head hung, wondering if He even wants to talk to me or hear my apology.

Lets start there…thats a ridiculous thought. The one who moved Heaven & Earth just to spend time with us, WANTS to spend time with us, even when we disappoint Him. He wants to walk with us, share our hurts and burdens and talk with us. This is the whole reason for His coming!
I love how The Message translation puts Isaiah 26:1-4! It’s talking of how God is letting His children into the City of God, 3-4 stating:People with their minds set on you, you keep completely whole, Steady on their feet, because they keep at it and don’t quit.4 Depend on God and keep at it because in the Lord God you have a sure thing.”
You keep us completely whole: When our minds are focused on Him, steadfast not in ourselves but in who God is- He keeps us. He holds us steady because we keep trying. No quitters here!
I love that last part…In the Lord God you have a SURE thing! He is not thinking “Great, she messed up again, I wish she just wouldn’t come & try to make it right! Noooo, this the complete opposite of what He wants! He sees us struggling and longs to step right in. He desires to be the only source of our strength. I also love the end of verse 6 where in the message it states:
All the exploited and outcast peoples
build their lives on the reclaimed land.
There is room for every single one of us. God has already paid the fee on this reclaimed land. We can build our lives on the restoration of Jesus Christ. He’ll live with us, guiding us through our day, helping us and being constant when our consistency fails.

This is where I’m walking, join me?
